*Models that register and attend the event for the day will be refunded 50% of the registration fee at the end of the day.

VENUE: This is a 2600 sq ft, $325K home located in Seymour, TN, South of Knoxville. It has vaulted/cathedral ceilings, 3 bedroom (large master), 2.5 baths, unfinished basement space, 3-car garage, corner lot. (Photos)

NOTES:
Since this venue is smaller than the usual PhotoModex event, we must limit the number of participants. Our target is 10 photographers and 10 models. Therefore, a second day is being added to give as many interested parties as possible an opportunity to get involved in the shoot.

Several parents of minors have asked about an age limit. For this event, 14 is the minimum age. Since this Photo-Shoot is more adult-oriented, minors will either be asked to finish shooting early on Saturday (working on times for this). Depending on the number of minors wanting to attend, there is a chance that they will be asked to participate on Sunday.

Themes:
1) Characters that identify with the Holiday Season: elves, pixies, Santa’s assistants, Mrs. Clause, etc. but with a sexy, saucy, or risque twist. (Please, no inappropriate portrayals of Biblical persons).
2) “Night on the Town” Ladies, bring your classiest, most elegant, dress or gown! Bring those stilettos too! Dress for partying on New York City’s Park Avenue!

Guidelines:
This venue is a PRIVATE HOME that is currently listed FOR SALE with a realtor. As such, it is imperative that all participants take the utmost care to treat all the property with the utmost respect.
You will be required to sign a statement of responsibility to attend this event.

The utmost professional behavior is expected of all participants. Anything less than this will not be tolerated and offending party may be asked to leave the venue (no refund).

Equipment:
After inspecting the venue, I have determined that there is sufficient space that will allow 8 or 9 different “shoots” to be going on at one time on the main floor. The interior is nicely decorated and the architecture is inviting (photos to be posted tomorrow). I saw one area that would lend itself to the use of an appropriate backdrop. We will provide the stands/bar if anyone wants to bring backdrops.

There is a small basement, unfinished, that would be suitable for a “mini-studio” if a photog wants to bring their own stands, backdrops, & lights. There is also a large three-car garage that can be used for “mini-studios” as well (un-heated).

Large windows on the NE wall will provide excellent natural light through the morning hours. Smaller windows on the opposite side of the house will make for more intimate shooting. Bring on/off camera flashes, reflectors, and/or diffusers.

What else to bring:
PhotoModex will provide some typical decorations and other trappings of the season. These will be available as props that can be used as needed. We ask that everyone check their boxes of decorations at home and bring something that we all can use.

In an attempt to keep the fees for this event as low as possible, we ask that participants bring some food/snack/drink items to be shared by all.

Finally, a reminder that PhotoModex Photo-Shoot-Outs are meant to be a forum to network, collaborate, and expand your respective portfolios. And, above all: to have some FUN being creative!
